BARC Exam Schedule 2021

BARC Exam Schedule 2019 released on the official website of the Bhabha Atomic Research Center from 9th March 2019. Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) invites application through online mode for recruitment of Trainee Scientific Officer (TSO) for the 2019-20 academic session of BARC Training School through their separate Online Examination or GATE 2019/2018 score for Engineering and Science stream.

After successful completion of one-year course work at the Institute, DGFS Fellows undertake project work, which is assigned by DAE and supervised jointly by a DAE and an Institute guide.

Procedure for Allocation of Exam Slot in BARC Exam 2021

Step 1: All the applications submitted on a particular date are considered together. The date of applications will be considered sequentially and the first date to be taken up will be January 1, 2018. Subsequently the other dates of application will be taken up in chronological order ending with February 12, 2018.

Step 2: Among them, the applications of PWD candidates are taken up first in the ascending order of Registration numbers and the centre allotment will be done in the following manner one by one, subject to exams being scheduled in the concerned discipline of the candidate.

  1. The first preference of city/centre will be allotted on 1st April 2018 if available, or on 31st March 2018, if 1st April 2018 is not available, or on 30th March 2018, if 31st March 2018 is not available, or on 29th March 2018, if 30th March 2018 is not available, or on 28th March 2018, if 29th March 2018 is not available. However if the first preference of city is not available, then the second preference of city/centre will be allotted on one of the dates between 28th March 2018 and 1st April 2018 as described above.
  2. Further if the first and second preferences are not available, then the third preference of city/centre will be allotted on one of the dates between 28th March 2018 and 1st April 2018 as described above.
  3. If any of the three preferences of cities are not available, then the exam centre and date of exam will be allocated randomly from the available cities/centres and dates.

Step 3: Next, the applications of female candidates are taken up in the ascending order of Registration numbers and the centre allotment will be done as per the procedure explained in Step 2.

Step 4: Next, the applications of male candidates are taken up in the ascending order of Registration numbers and the centre allotment will be done as per the procedure explained in Step 2.
