GATE 2021 Important Exam Dates

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. The operations related to GATE in each of the 8 zones are managed by a zonal GATE Office at the IITs or IISc. In this article, we discuss the GATE 2021 Important Dates.

The Organizing Institute (OI) is responsible for the end-to-end process and coordination among the administering Institutes. GATE 2021 will be conducted by IIT Bombay. 

GATE 2021 application form to be open from September 1, 2020 (Tuesday). The GATE application form is nowadays filled by only computerized online mode. This method is called the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System). The last date for the GATE 2021 application form will be September 24, 2020 (Thursday). You can be filled the GATE application form these days & to avoid the last-minute rush, please fill the form in mid dates.

GATE office provides the facility to change the examination center after filling your GATE application form and after closing the date of the GATE application form. If you want to change the examination center you may change as you want through (GOAPS) login.

Admit card available to download from GATE official site from January 5, 2021 (Tuesday)  for printing. Also, you can download your admit card whenever you want to download just log in to (GOAPS) account.

Because of the COVID19 pandemic situation GATE 2021 exam has been spread out over a long duration. GATE 2021 examination held on February 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th & 14th, 2021 (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays). This examination nowadays an online exam for almost all disciplines. GATE exam required one month to conduct its all exam for all disciplines. It will be conducted only on Saturdays and Sundays.

GATE 2021 examination results will be announced on March 16, 2020 (Tuesday) on the online application (official) website. Only qualified GATE aspirants can able to download the GATE 2021 scorecard after it is available to download.
