SSC JE 2020 Application Form Started

Staff Selection Commission released SSC JE 2020-21 Notification to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineers of Civil, Electrical & Mechanical. This recruitment is done by conducting SSC JE 2020 Online Exam. Candidates are required to submit an SSC JE 2020 Application Form.

SSC JE 2020 Notification be released 0n 1st October 2020 by SSC. SSC JE 2020 Tier-I exam will be conducted in the month of March 2021. The selected candidate in Tier-I will have to appear in the Tier-II exam. It will be conducted in 2nd half of the year 2021.

How to fill the SSC JE 2020 Application Form?

The application form of SSC JE has been released online. The link to apply has been provided below on this page. Candidates can check the detailed procedure to fill both parts of the SSC JE 2020 application form as explained below.

The online application form of SSC JE will be filled in two parts:-

1. Part I registration involves filling up of basic details.
2. Part II – registration involves filling of payment details, uploading of photograph, and scanned signature.

Part I of SSC JE 2020 Application Form

Step 1: Click on the link ‘SSC JE 2020 Application Form Released – Apply Here’ that will be provided on this page.

Step 2: The link will redirect the candidates to a new page, where candidates should fill up basic details as asked such as name, parents’ name, address, academic qualifications, and contact details.

Step 3: Check all the details carefully and ensure no mistakes are made while filling up the application form.

Step 4: On submission of details, candidates shall be prompted to check details and make the correction (if any) in the application form

Step 5: After checking all the details thoroughly, Candidates should press the ‘I agree’ button. Thereafter no correction/modification shall be allowed.

Upon successful submission of part 1 of the SSC JE application form, a unique system generated registration number will be issued to the applicants. They should note down the registration no. Or take the print out of the page. After completing part I, candidates can move forth with part II of the application form.

Part II of SSC JE 2020 Application Form

Step 1: Login in part II of the application form with the registration id and date of birth.

Step 2: After login for part 2 of the SSC JE application form, the next step would be the payment of application fees.

Step 3: To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take a print-out of challan generated online after completion of part I registration. Deposit the requisite fee in the paying branch of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part II registration. Candidates paying the application fee online through SBI net banking/debit card/credit cards can go directly to part II registration after completion of part I.

Step 4: After paying the application fee, candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their latest color passport size photograph and signature in the application form.

Step 5: The scanned photograph should be in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than 12 kb and greater than 4 kb and of resolution 100-pixel widths by 120 pixels height.

Step 6: Then upload a scanned signature in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than 12 kb and greater than 1 kb and of resolution 140-pixel width by 60 pixels height. As per specifically mentioned in para 16 of the notice of the examination.

Step 7: Candidates then ‘submit’ the application form and take a print out of the application form.
