JEE Advanced 2019 Exam Date

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has released notification for JEE Advanced 2019 examination. As per the notification IIT Roorkee conducts JEE Advanced this year. The institute also released details regarding eligibility, important dates, online exam fee, registration process, and important instructions.

About JEE Advanced

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) conduct for admission to the following programs (entry at 10+2 level) in Engineering, Science and Architecture in all the IITs,

• 4-years Bachelors: B.Tech, B.S.
• 5-years B. Arch
• 5-years Dual Degree: B.Tech-M.Tech, B.S.-M.S.
• 5-years Integrated Masters: M.Tech, M.Sc Dual Degree

JEE Advanced 2019 will have two papers. Both the papers are compulsory. Each Paper have 3 hours time duration and will have questions in Physics, Chemistry, Maths. The complete examination will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode Only. The aspirant will have the option to choose the preferred English or Hindi Language during the exam.

JEE 2019 Advanced Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates who want to apply for JEE Advanced should fulfill the following criteria:

1) Should rank in 2,24,000 candidates (including all categories) in JEE Main 2019 Paper I Exam.

2) Candidate should be born on or after 1st October 1994, 5 years age relaxation is given to SC/ST/PWD.

3) The aspirant should not appear in JEE Advanced 2017 or before.

4) Candidate should appear for 12th (or equivalent) exam for the first time in 2018 or 2019

5) The aspirant should not except admission at any of IITs earlier.

JEE Advanced Registration

Candidates declared eligible in JEE Main 2019 Paper I or Paper II should register for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced Registration begins in the month of May. Registration should be done by uploading requisite documents and by paying the registration fee on JEE Advanced official Web Portal.
