The GMAT 2020 [Graduate Management Admission Test] is designed by Government Management Admission Council [GMAC]. It is a 3 and a half-hour long computer adaptive test that judges the students Verbal and Reading Skills, Analytical Writing, and Quantitative in standard written English. The test is taken to check the ability of the students who are pursuing Management Programs.
The GMAT Registration is flexible that is one can enroll at any time without having any difficulty. The fees for the GMAT Exam are US 250$ [INR 17,700]. GMAT Exam 2020 Exam Dates
There are no specific dates for giving the GMAT Exams. You have to decide when to appear for the exam as you get an option to choose from the available dates. The registration for the exam is available throughout the year. However, if you are retaking a GMAT Exam to improve your score then it would be possible only after 16 days of the Exam.
In GMAT the student cannot appear more than 5 times in a year and overall 8 times in a lifetime. The fee is deposited is not refundable so it is recommended that whenever you are fully prepared then only you will appear for the GMAT Exam and the fee for rescheduling the exam is US 50$.

GMAT Exam 2020 Syllabus
The entire syllabus of GMAT is divided into 4 sections:
- Analytical Writing Section
- Integrated Reasoning Section
- Quantitative Aptitude Section
- Verbal Reasoning Section
Analytical Writing Syllabus
This section requires analyzing a given argument and write a review on it. The students have to write or a passage in which the questions will be asked. This section is very fast as the topics of the passage could be of any topic. The main thing is it focuses on the structure of the answer and not the argument. AWA will check your ability to organize your thoughts and use of given evidence to support your viewpoint.
Integrated Reasoning Syllabus
This section is new in the GMAT Syllabus. This section requires you to analyze and evaluate the information given in multiple forms. The Integrated Reasoning Section will challenge both your verbal and quantitative skills. The Questions type can be grouped into:
- Multisource Reasoning – The questions will ask you to integrate, compare, understand, or use the information presented in written passages, tables, graphs, diagrams, and other types of visual images
- Table Analysis – questions ask you to determine statistics, ratios, proportions or probabilities, etc. from a given spreadsheet-like table with a drop-down menu.
- Graphics interpretation – fill-in-the-blanks type questions to be solved on the basis of given bar graphs, line graphs, scatterplots, and bubble graphs.
- Two-part analysis – The questions will ask you to calculate proportion, manage trade-offs, etc. and choose answer options that will be given in tabular format.
Quantitative Reasoning Syllabus
The Quantitative Reasoning Section consists of 2 sections namely Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency
- Problem Solving – It measures the candidates’ skills to use logic and analytical reasoning for solving quantitative problems.
- Data Sufficiency – It measures the candidates’ ability to examine a quantitative problem, identify which data is important, and determine at what point there are enough data to solve the problem.

Verbal Reasoning Syllabus
The Verbal Reasoning Section measures your ability to read and understand written content and to reason and judge arguments. Three types of verbal reasoning questions are:
- Reading comprehension – questions ask you to refer to a passage of up to 350 words and answer questions based on the main idea, supporting ideas, inferences, context, style, and tone, etc.
- Critical reasoning – questions check you on argument structure, argument evaluation, and forming a plan of action.
- Sentence correction – questions are classified into an agreement, diction, grammatical construction, logical predication, rhetorical construction, and verb form.

GMAT 2020 Exam Pattern
The GMAT Exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes which is decided by the official exam administrative body called [GMAC]. The GMAT Exam is having 80 Questions and consists of 4 sections.
