How to fill GATE 2021 Application Form

GATE (Graduate aptitude test in engineering) online application form filling will start from 1st September 2020 (00:00 Hrs) Sunday. Candidates can fill online application form between 1st September 2019 (00:00 Hrs) to 21st September 2020 (23:59 Hrs) Saturday. A candidate has to fill GATE 2021 application form in online mode only using GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).

Step 1: Register Online for New User

A) Visit Official Portal of GOAPS

Candidate needs to visit GATE 2021 official Website:

http://gate.iitd.ac.in

or you may directly visit GATE online application form filling an official page

http://appsgate.iitd.ac.in/

When a candidate will click on the above link, you will be directed to next page

Candidates first need to register themselves in order to fill the GATE 2021 online application form. Click on “New User? Register Here” at the end of the page.

Here the candidate will register himself for GATE 2021 application form filling. Here you need to fill 7 blocks of information related to the applicant.

[1] Name of the candidate

[2] Email Address

[3] Confirm Email Address

[4] Mobile Number

[5] Password

[6] Confirm Password

[7] Arithmetic Expression

after filling all the required details please click on the submit button.

ID on his registered mobile number as well as on his registered email address.

B) Note down your GOAPS Enrollment ID

• Here the candidate will enter his/her Enrollment ID & Password. The password would be the same which was filled by the candidate in the registration form. Then click on the “Submit” tab.
• A candidate now needs to click on “Start GATE 2021 Application Form”.
• When a candidate will click on “Start GATE 2021 Application Form”, will be directed to a page

Step 2: Fill Details Important Details

Choose Exam Centres: Students can choose a maximum of three test centers for taking the examination.

Enter Personal Details: Candidates have to enter their personal details including name, date of birth, your personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc.

Enter Academic Details: Candidates need to fill their qualification details of degree examination.

Enter your Address: Candidates have to enter their complete address including Pin Code for future communication.

Enter Photo ID details: Candidates have to enter the specified number mentioned in their identification card (any one of Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar UID, valid College ID, Employee identification or and Driving License)

Step3: Upload Photograph, Signature & Other Documents

Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of degree certificate, category certificate (if applicable), Photograph, Signature & PWD Certificate (if applicable) in the given mentioned specifications:

Step4: Declaration

• Mention the source of GATE 2021 information.
• You can view your filled-in application by clicking on saving and view the application.
• Or you can directly submit and proceed to payment.

Step5: Make Payment

The application fee for Male (General/OBC) and Other candidates is Rs. 1500/- and for SC/ST/PWD and Women (All Categories) it is Rs. 750/-. International Students have to pay USD 50 for the application fee. The fee can be paid using net banking, debit card, or e-challan (extra bank charges will be applicable).

Note: On the successful submission of the fee, a “Fee Payment Number” will be generated. Keep this number safe as it is required before the final submission of the application form.
