UPSC Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS)
Indian Government has chosen to merge each of the eight existing administrations of Indian Railways at all levels. Now onwards candidates will join all the Current Railway Services through Civil Services Examination (CSE) and Indian Engineering Services (ESE/IES) that will be conducted by UPSC.

IRMS 2021 Recruitment Process
The UPSC IRMS exam date is tentatively scheduled for 2021. Indian Railway Management Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Railway, and the Indian Railway Personnel Service recruit their staff from Civil Service Examination (CSE) and Indian Engineering Services (ESE). In the year 2021, there will be a common preliminary exam for Railway Service and the mains exam for engineers will be based on their specialized domain expertise.
