Important Note: Due to the pandemic of COVID-19 the College Board has canceled the March 14, 2020 Exam. Also, they have canceled the MAy 2, 2020, and June 6, 2020, SAT Administration. SAT 2020 Exam Eligibility Criteria
The College Board which is the official conducting body of SAT has not laid down any Eligibility Criteria as far as the age limit is concerned. However, students who are traveling abroad to take admission to undergraduate universities or colleges are required to successfully qualify for the SAT exam.
The students must pass their high school to take admission in undergraduate studies. The major countries that accept SAT scores and results are the USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. However, students belonging to the age group of 17 to 19 years has the highest number appearing for the SAT Exams

SAT Eligibility for Students With Disabilities
The students having Disabilities must inform their conducting body i.e. College Board about their condition. So that they will be eligible to appear for the SAT 2020 Exam with more facilities to make their experience worth a while. All the extra charges must be approved by College Board Services for Students with Disabilities unit. It can be used for SAT General and SAT Subject Test once the facilities have been approved by the College Board Services.

SAT 2020 Exam Pattern
The SAT 2020 Exam Pattern consists of 2 sets of exams. The first is the SAT Reasoning Test and the second is the SAT Subject Test. This is one of the most competitive exams and is known by big universities/colleges. The students who are looking to pursue higher education in abroad countries can apply for the SAT Reasoning Test. Also, students who are looking to study a particular subject in detail can apply for the SAT Subject Test. However, the Exam Pattern and Syllabus for SAT Exam is different for both the sets.
SAT 2020 Reasoning Exam Pattern
The duration of the SAT Reasoning Exam is 3 hours and 50 minutes including the optional essay. If the students don’t want to include the Essay option the exam duration for SAT Reasoning will be 3 Hours. Students have to attempt a total of 155 questions including the Essay Component. SAT Subject Test Pattern
The duration of the SAT Subject is 1 hour which gives the students an opportunity to showcase their skills in a particular subject. The College Board conducts SAT subjects tests for Math, History, Science, Literature, and Languages. The students can choose from over 20 subjects as they are graded on a scale of 800 points.

SAT 2020 Exam Syllabus
SAT syllabus includes the subjects that students have already learned in their high school over the years. Essay Section [Optional]
SAT Essay is the optimal section but almost all universities prefer their candidates to submit their SAT Essay scores along with their application. So do not miss this section and go for the SAT Essay section until you have a very strong reason to keep it optional. The time given to complete this section is 50 minutes. in which Applicants are given 650-700 words passage and then write the analysis about how the author has built the argument.
